| The Model PL9000-14 high-accuracy load cell kit from PRECISIONLOADS, is designed for on-board scale underbody mounting in fixed body, straight truck applications. The low-profile, high-strength load cells are typically mounted in three, four and six-point configurations between truck chassis rails and body subframe runners. The unitized load cell assembly includes the time-proven PRECISIONBEAM load cell, a single-piece weld-down bearing plate, and plated, Grade 8 mounting hardware. Stress-relieving body springs with extended bolts are included standard in full system kits. All load cells are zinc-dichromate plated and are supplied with either cad-plated MIL-spec or heavy duty plastic MIL equivalent connector ends. Overall load cell height is only 2.33" high by 13" long (59 x 330 mm) allowing the -14 cell to be easily installed in optimum mounting locations along a truck chassis.
PRECISIONBEAM load cells are also used for their compactness in on-board scale systems requiring spring hanger mounts and body-rest mounts in tipping applications. PRECISIONLOADS provides customers with optional bolt-on brackets for most applications, or alternatively, supplies drawings to allow installers to fabricate these parts locally. |
