For onboard scale applications which require the scale display and control unit to be located near pump and auger stations, or as part of a self-contained trailer weighing system, PRECISIONLOADS provides Model PL9700 or PL9710 indicators with a specially protective enclosure. The model PL9700-2030 external display unit provides protection of the digital indicator against moisture ingress, internal condensation and against potential damage from shock and vibration, common to truck and trailer scale applications. The 2030 enclosure complies with NEMA 12 and 4-X ratings for protection and can be washed-down with up to 70 lbs. of pressure. Internally, the 2030 is lined with heavy, custom cut, closed-cell polylam foam inserts to provide shock and vibration absorption of the truck and/or trailer.

Displayed weights, messages and indicator LED’s can be viewed through the glass window of the 2030. The environmentally-protected 2030 units are supplied as keyed-door entry units requiring operators to access the display controls through the sealed, windowed door. The kit is supplied to customers with Phillips locks (2) and a set of four heavy duty wall-mount brackets and mounting hardware.
