Load Checkweighing and Adjustment Time

The savings to your current loading operations, should they involve any work time for checkweighing truckloads or adjusting truck weights (load blow-off or add-on) are estimated below. The savings which our on-board scales provide are based on a single truck or tractor/trailer, and based on a nominal 3 loads per day in a five day workweek. Adjust your savings numbers if your truck hauls more or less than 3 loads per day and operates more or less than 5 days per week.

Note: Rate of $ 40.00 per hour is a nominal cost based on driver costs, fuel and maintenance expense and other direct operating costs. It does not include the cost of other personnel and equipment needed for load adjustment or checkweighing.
